Cavefolk

How a game of Cavefolk goes

Each round a new action space comes out, and in turn everyone sends one family member at a time to a free space: take the wood or stone piled there, place a meadow and a field or a cave and a tunnel, furnish a room, fence pastures, sink a mine, or forge gear and set off on an expedition. Your farm is on the TV for everyone to see; your choices are on your phone. Most rounds end with a harvest: fields give crops, every family member eats, and animals with a pair have young. After twelve rounds, points for animals, crops, gems, coins, family, pastures, mines and rooms decide the richest farm, with a point for every square put to use.

01
Send out your family
One family member at a time, to a space nobody else has taken this round. Goods piled on a space are all yours.
02
Build out your farm
Clear the woods for fields and pastures and dig caves and mines into the hill, then furnish the caves with rooms.
03
Feed them at the harvest
Every family member eats 2 food. Turn crops, animals, coins or gems into food, or beg.
